# WebsocketPP block update

Hi embers,

I managed to update [W+K websockets block](https://github.com/wieden-kennedy/Cinder-WebSocketPP), integrating some impovements from [this fork](https://github.com/quinkennedy/Cinder-WebSocketPP/tree/dev) and some code I changed, here is the [resulting block](https://github.com/videodromm/Cinder-WebSocketPP).

It now compiles fine with Visual Studio 2015, I did:

- Renamed _WEBSOCKETPP\_NOEXCEPT\_TOKEN_ to \_NOEXCEPT: allows compiling with VS2015 without error C2694
- Added binary write for client: void WebSocketClient::write(void const \* msg, size\_t len)
- Integrating changes from [https://github.com/quinkennedy/Cinder-WebSocketPP/tree/dev](https://github.com/quinkennedy/Cinder-WebSocketPP/tree/dev)

Let me know if it works for you, then I’ll do a PR.
