Hand tracking options

In the attached screen grab from the Cinder demo video can anyone tell me how hand tracking was done?

Was a skeletal tracking camera like the Kinect used, or was it through OpenCV?

Infrared bezels are quite good for this kind of tracking, which is what I believe was used for this. PQLabs and Zaagtech are the two types I’ve worked with, and find them both to be very fast, and accurate. The number of points you can track mostly has to do with price point, but if you just need a virtual mouse, it’s pretty affordable relatively. The touches come in as native on both osx and windows, so they are very easy to work with in Cinder.
